Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Antoine Drive
Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the 2000 block of Antoine Drive around 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, March 2, 2026. The identity of the 30-year-vintage male victim is pending notification to his family by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to a press release from the Houston Police Department, the motorcyclist was operating a black Suzuki GSX600 northbound on Antoine Drive when he lost control and collided with a utility pole. The motorcycle subsequently caught fire. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident. The Vehicular Crimes Division, led by Sergeant V. Vo and Officer D. Ortega, is currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
