FGCU Women’s Tennis Match at North Alabama Canceled Due to Weather

FLORENCE, Ala. – The Atlantic Sun Conference women’s tennis match between Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and North Alabama scheduled for Sunday has been canceled due to inclement weather in the region. FGCU Athletics announced the cancellation on March 8, 2026.

FGCU’s Schedule Adjustment

The FGCU Eagles (10-4 0-1 in the ASUN) will now return home to host Cleveland State on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the FGCU Tennis Complex. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. FGCU Athletics

FGCU’s Home Record

FGCU boasts a 9-1 record at home this season, with their only loss coming against a ranked Furman team.

Cleveland State Match Details

Cleveland State enters the match with a 3-10 record, having recently secured a 4-3 victory at Dayton on Friday before traveling to Florida. The upcoming contest will mark only the second meeting between FGCU and Cleveland State, with FGCU winning the first encounter 6-1 in 2022.
