Iran Declares US-Israel War Effort a Failure, Rules Out Further Negotiations

Jakarta – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has declared the war waged by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic a failure. He stated that initial plans have failed and subsequent attempts to achieve objectives have also been unsuccessful.^PBS

Araghchi added that the US and Israel have demonstrated a lack of clear objectives, resulting in indiscriminate attacks on residential areas.^PBS He further noted that attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure have led to a significant surge in global oil prices.

No Negotiating with the US

According to Araghchi, after ten days of conflict, the US and Israel have no discernible goals.^PBS He emphasized that Iran is no longer open to negotiations with the US, citing a “very bitter experience” during previous nuclear talks.^PBS

“They promised us that they had no intention of attacking us and they wanted to resolve the nuclear issue Iran peacefully and find a negotiated solution,” Araghchi said. “However, they still decided to attack us.”^PBS He stated, “I don’t think the question of dialogue with America… Will once again be considered.”^PBS

Trump Claims War is “Very Complete”

United States President Donald Trump has claimed the war against Iran is “very complete,” asserting that it has progressed faster than initial estimates of four to five weeks.^CNBCTIME
