Amazfit Prepares to Launch Cheetah 2 Pro and Falcon 2 Smartwatches

Amazfit is gearing up to expand its smartwatch lineup with the anticipated releases of the Cheetah 2 Pro and Falcon 2. These upcoming models signal a continued push from the brand to cater to both dedicated runners and demanding athletes, building on recent launches like the T-Rex Ultra 2 and Active 3 Premium.

Cheetah 2 Pro: A Focus on Running Performance

The Cheetah 2 Pro, a successor to the original Cheetah Pro, is designed with runners in mind. A recent video collaboration with Canadian long-distance runner Grant Fisher showcased the novel watch, revealing a key design change. Unlike the single-button and rotating crown design of its predecessor, the Cheetah 2 Pro features four physical buttons – two on each side – potentially streamlining navigation and control during workouts. While specific specifications remain under wraps, the Cheetah 2 Pro is expected to follow the ‘Pro’ blueprint established by previous generations, potentially including a titanium-alloy bezel, a high-brightness AMOLED display, and dual-band GPS technology. Details about the Falcon 2 were discovered within the code of the Zepp app version 10.0.8, as reported by Gadgets and Wearables. The internal identifier “SUPPORT_BIND_FALCON2025” suggests a potential release timeframe, even though it’s unclear if the “2025” refers to a planned launch year or a model designation.

The original Falcon targeted athletes with its titanium body, sapphire glass, and 20 ATM waterproof rating. It remains to be seen what improvements the Falcon 2 will bring, but it is expected to maintain a focus on premium materials and durability.

Recent Amazfit Launches

These upcoming releases follow closely on the heels of other recent Amazfit product launches. The Active 3 Premium, targeted towards runners of all levels, became available in the Czech market on March 5th, priced at 4,290 CZK. The T-Rex Ultra 2, designed for extreme outdoor conditions, launched a week earlier at 13,990 CZK.
