Family Venturini Charms Italy on “The Voice Generations” with Nostalgic Performance
Dovera, Italy – March 14, 2026 – The Venturini family captivated audiences across Italy last night on the popular singing competition “The Voice Generations,” delivering a heartfelt performance of “Mamma Maria,” the iconic hit by Ricchi e Poveri. The performance featured Marco Venturini, 44, and his wife Maddalena Malizia, 35, alongside their children, Manuel, 12, and Mia, 9.
The audition episode, hosted by Antonella Clerici, saw the family’s performance resonate deeply with the judges – Loredana Bertè, For Them, Arisa, and Clementino & Rocco Hunt. A particularly touching moment occurred when 9-year-classic Mia expressed her emotions with a cry, immediately comforted by her family. Coach Nek embraced Mia following the song, creating a memorable scene.
While this stage was new for the children, it wasn’t for their parents. Marco Venturini is known as the former singer of Studio 3, the group behind hits like "Forse un angelo," "Lentamente," and "Potrei," and currently works as a vocal coach. Maddalena Malizia was a contestant on the ninth edition of “Friends” (Amici di Maria De Filippi) and has appeared as a dancer on various television programs, including “X Factor.”
After some deliberation, considering their family’s Lucanian roots, the Venturinis chose to join Team For Them. The singer expressed his admiration for the family, particularly Mia’s emotional display, stating that it was a powerful moment and praising their overall positivity.
Initially, the judges did not recognize Marco Venturini and Maddalena Malizia, but social media quickly buzzed with recognition of the pair’s past musical careers. Venturini co-founded Studio 3, which released five albums between 2005 and 2012.
