Barça and Palma Futsal to Clash in Semifinals
Barça secured their spot in the semifinals with a dominant 7-1 victory over Viña Albali FS.1 The Blaugrana team, led by a strong performance from a Jaén native player who scored two goals and provided an assist, took control of the match early, leading 2-0 in the first half and extending their lead after the break. Viña Albali FS managed to score a single goal with three minutes remaining, but the outcome was already decided with Barça leading 6-0.1
They will face Illes Balears Palma Futsal, who defeated Quesos El Hidalgo Manzanares 6-2.1 Despite an initial push from Manzanares, Palma quickly established a 3-0 lead within the first 11 minutes. Although Manzanares showed some resilience, Palma ultimately secured the victory.
Inter Movistar and Jaén Paraíso Interior to Battle
The other semifinal will pit Inter Movistar against Jaén Paraíso Interior.1 Inter Movistar overcame the League champion, Jimbee Cartagena, in a comeback victory, winning 8-3 in a strong second half performance.1
Jaén Paraíso Interior defeated ElPozo Murcia 4-1, capitalizing on a dominant final ten minutes.1 This will be the fifth meeting between the two teams in the Spanish Cup, with the series currently tied at two wins apiece. Jaén has previously won in the finals, even as Inter Movistar has won in earlier rounds.
