New Video Game Releases: Exorcism, Roman City Building, and More

Welcome to lucky week number 13 and the last full week of March. After a busy week last week, things are slowing down again this week. This week’s major release is for all the driving game fans out there and it apparently really screams. The rest of this week’s releases are a bit more low-key, starting with a game about packing, followed by one about hanging out at the local mall. After that we quickly move on to some exorcism, rebuilding Rome to your specifications and finally we round off the week with a collection of some classics from Capcom.

Screamer

Released Thursday, March 26, Screamer is a high-octane arcade racing game with anime aesthetics. The game features fighting mechanics and a storyline focused on themes of glory, power, and revenge. Every race is presented as a personal battle. Steam link

Released Monday, March 23, Pakinpaks is a cozy puzzle game where players embark on a global journey, packing and organizing travel gear. Players fulfill client requests and aim to create the neatest and most efficiently packed bags. Steam link

Mall Rivals

Released Tuesday, March 24, Mall Rivals is a competitive mall simulation game for 1-8 players. Players open stores in a shared mall, competing for customers and attempting to outmaneuver rivals through fair play or more underhanded tactics. Shinonome Abyss The Maiden Exorcist

Released Wednesday, March 25, Shinonome Abyss The Maiden Exorcist follows Yono, a shrine maiden searching for her missing brother. She arrives at a terrifying mansion haunted by yokai and vengeful spirits called Mononoke. Players must use limited items and traps, along with knowledge and courage, to survive the ever-changing halls and rooms. Steam link

Nova Roma

Released in Early Access on Thursday, March 26, Nova Roma tasks players with leading a band of citizens to rebuild a new Roman Empire. Starting from a humble village, players must appease the gods, meet the needs of their citizens, and build a society that will endure for millennia. Steam link

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection

Released Friday, March 27, the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection brings back the Mega Man Star Force series, which was also adapted into an anime. The collection includes seven games, a gallery of illustrations and music, and online play support. Steam link
