Hyundai Ioniq 6 N: A Modern Era of High-Performance EVs
Hyundai has officially launched the Ioniq 6 N, its second high-performance electric vehicle, signaling a significant step in the brand’s commitment to electrification and performance. Unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2025, the Ioniq 6 N builds upon the success of the Ioniq 5 N, integrating technologies honed from Hyundai N’s motorsport experience.
Performance and Design
The Ioniq 6 N boasts a sporty design, featuring wider fenders, 20-inch wheels, matrix headlights, active air intakes, and a large rear spoiler designed to enhance stability at high speeds. Under the sleek exterior lies a new suspension system engineered to improve handling while maintaining a comfortable ride.
Powering the Ioniq 6 N are two electric motors – one at the front and one at the rear – delivering a combined output of 609 horsepower (448kW). With the “N Grin Boost” system engaged, power and torque are temporarily increased. This allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in approximately 3.2 to 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 160 mph (257 km/h).[2]

Inside, the Ioniq 6 N features controls tailored for a sporty driving experience, including dedicated mode buttons and enhanced sound and feel functions. The vehicle also incorporates modern safety assistance systems.
The advanced battery system offers various modes to suit different driving scenarios, ensuring consistent performance. Electronically adjustable shock absorbers allow drivers to fine-tune the car’s handling based on road conditions.
