Placer County Medical Clinic Transitions to Western Sierra Medical Clinics
In 2016, the Placer County Board of Supervisors voted to cease operations of Placer County Medical Clinics and selected Western Sierra Medical Clinics (WSMC) as the provider to accept Placer County patients. This transition aimed to enhance healthcare accessibility and services for residents in the region.

Western Sierra Medical Clinic (WSMC) currently operates clinics at the following locations:
- 3111 Professional Drive, Auburn, CA 95603
- 8665 Salmon Avenue, Kings Beach, CA 96143

Insurance Information
WSMC accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurance. They similarly provide care for uninsured patients. More information on accepted insurance plans can be found on the Western Sierra Medical Clinic website.
