During the kickoff of his tour in Minneapolis on March 31, Springsteen voiced strong political disapproval of the Trump administration, labeling it as “corrupt, incompetent, racist [and] treasonous.”

President Trump responded on Thursday with a fiery post on Truth Social, attacking Springsteen’s appearance and mental state. He referred to the singer as a “bad and very boring singer” who looks like a “dried-up prune” and accused him of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Trump further characterized Springsteen as a “total loser who spews hate against a president who won a landslide election.”

In addition to the personal attacks, Trump called for a boycott of Springsteen’s concerts. This is not the first instance of conflict between the two figures, with a years-long feud simmering beneath the surface.
