Woman charged in I-270 deadly crash has history of bad driving, second fatal crash Jaricah Wright, the woman charged in a deadly crash on Interstate 270 near Georgesville Road, has a documented history of traffic violations and prior incidents, according to court records reviewed by local authorities. The crash, which occurred early Monday morning, resulted in the death of 45-year-old Jodi Tackett and serious injury to another individual. Wright was operating a silver Audi when she made a U-turn from West Broad Street onto the I-270 on-ramp, entering the highway in the wrong direction. Surveillance footage obtained from the Ohio Department of Transportation shows her vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes for a short distance before correcting her course. Approximately four miles later, she collided with two vehicles stopped on the left shoulder of the highway. At the time of the crash, Tackett was parked in her 2024 Toyota Corolla behind a disabled 2014 Toyota Sienna minivan, both vehicles displaying hazard lights. Natanael Mbatang Wandji and Anderson Mbatang Wandji were reportedly changing a tire on the minivan when the collision occurred. Wright has since been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. Court documents indicate she was driving under suspension at the time of the incident and has a prior history of unsafe driving behavior, including previous traffic offenses. The case remains under investigation by the Columbus Police Department, with additional details expected as legal proceedings continue. Wright appeared in court Friday and is being held on a $1 million bond.
