HONOR Win Turbo: Endurance Meets Performance in a Slim New Package
HONOR has officially expanded its endurance-focused smartphone lineup with the introduction of the HONOR Win Turbo. Building on the foundation of the previous Win and Win RT models, this device prioritizes extreme battery longevity and rugged durability without sacrificing a modern, slim design.
Key Specifications and Performance
The standout feature of the Win Turbo is its massive 10,000mAh battery, engineered to support extended usage cycles. Despite the high-capacity cell, the device maintains a profile of 7.98 mm in thickness and weighs 216 grams. To support this battery, the phone includes 80W SuperCharge fast charging capabilities and 27W reverse charging.
Under the hood, the Win Turbo is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Racing Edition processor, paired with an ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. Users can select from configurations featuring up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Magic UI 10.0, based on Android 16.
The visual experience is driven by a 6.79-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming system. HONOR has also integrated its Oasis eye protection technology into the panel, which offers a global peak brightness of 1,800 nits and an HDR peak brightness reaching up to 8,000 nits.
Durability and Camera Capabilities
The Win Turbo distinguishes itself with a triple-certification rating for water and dust resistance, specifically meeting IP68, IP69, and IP69K standards. This allows the chassis to withstand deep submersion as well as exposure to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
For photography, the device features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.88 aperture, complemented by a 5MP ultrawide sensor. The camera system supports 4K video recording, while the front-facing 16MP camera handles selfies and video calls. Additional hardware features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, and Dual 115 stereo speakers.
Pricing and Market Availability
The HONOR Win Turbo is available in three color options: Blue, Black, and White. It has launched in the Chinese market with the following pricing tiers:
- 12GB + 256GB: CNY 3,299 (~$487)
- 12GB + 512GB: CNY 3,599 (~$531)
- 16GB + 512GB: CNY 4,199 (~$620)
Looking Ahead
By refining the design of the Win series and removing the internal cooling fan found in earlier iterations, HONOR has positioned the Win Turbo as a streamlined option for users who prioritize battery endurance and physical resilience. As mobile hardware continues to evolve toward higher efficiency, the Win Turbo serves as a clear example of how manufacturers are balancing dense battery technology with the demand for thin, durable consumer electronics.
