Successful candidates gain entry to a free training course recognized by the Regione Piemonte to obtain the official OSS qualification. The employer covers all course expenses, including learning materials and work uniforms. The curriculum spans 1,000 hours over roughly nine months, adhering to current regulations, and requires a 90% attendance rate alongside a 450-hour practical internship.
Candidates receive a formal employment commitment letter upon passing the selection phase. Theoretical classes take place in Turin, while the primary workplace is located in Tonengo d’Asti, with potential placements at other facilities.
Contract Terms and Candidate Requirements
The position offers a full-time, open-ended contract consisting of 38 weekly hours organized across three shifts: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Compensation falls under the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for healthcare facilities and medical personnel, providing a target gross annual salary of 19.675 euro. Additional employee benefits include healthcare insurance covering both the worker and their family, subject to a 700-euro deductible, alongside performance-based annual bonuses.
Applicants must possess a middle school diploma or an equivalent qualification, a valid category B driving license, reliable access to a vehicle, and a solid command of the Italian language. While prior experience as a personal care assistant or holding a family assistant qualification is preferred, the agency welcomes applicants who demonstrate a strong commitment to transitioning into the caregiving profession.
