A new cartoon exhibition addressing climate change opened at the church in Vierzehnheiligen, aiming to use humor to prompt reflection on global warming, resource management, and environmental protection.
Exhibition Details and Opening Schedule
The display features a collection of drawings tackling subjects such as rising temperatures and humanity’s stewardship of the Earth. While the illustrations use humor to make the subject matter approachable, their primary intent is to provoke serious thought regarding ecological consequences and personal resource consumption.
The event is a collaborative effort organized by Scientists for Future, Parents for Future, and the Vierzehnheiligen parish church communityverband. Following the opening, the exhibition remains open to the public daily from 10:00 to 17:00 through the end of October.
Accessibility for Local Visitors
Organizers scheduled the exhibition run to coincide with local community events, ensuring the artwork is accessible to visitors attending the historical battle reenactment of 1806 in the area. The daily operating hours match the standard opening times of the Vierzehnheiligen church, allowing tourists and local residents to view the graphics alongside regular church visits.
