“The opponent is certainly very strong, but performing in the final is a special moment for me,” Kaiser stated in an official release reported by Antara News. The 20-year-old athlete noted that competing in a G2-rated World Taekwondo event serves as a vital step in accumulating qualification points for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Kaiser ultimately fell in the gold-medal match to Russia’s Vladislav Budin by a 0-2 score.

Despite adjustments to the provisional medal table—where the organizing committee excluded events featuring fewer than four competitors—Indonesia continues to lead the overall standings. Previous days saw gold medals awarded to athletes such as Muhammad Hafizh Fachru Rosy in the U-30 men’s recognized poomsae and Akila Ramadani in the women’s -57 kg kyorugi division.
