The Leapmotor B10 Dynamic, a limited-edition electric compact SUV developed through a partnership between Stellantis and Chinese electric vehicle startup Leapmotor, launched in Germany with a price tag of €39,000, according to automotive reports. The vehicle enters the market as Chinese EV brands expand their footprint in Europe, backed by Stellantis’s strategic stake and distribution network.
Market Performance and Stellantis Partnership
Leapmotor has established a rapid presence in the German automotive market following its backing by multinational automaker Stellantis. According to industry sales data, Leapmotor’s registrations in Germany surged by 366 percent in the first half of the year, reaching 2,662 vehicles, and captured a 0.9 percent market share in June.
Building on this momentum, Leapmotor collaborated with automotive tuner Irmscher to produce the B10 Dynamic. Limited to just 500 numbered units, the special edition features distinct exterior styling, including white paint with black accent stripes, Irmscher branding, black 19-inch alloy wheels, and a specialized roof spoiler. The vehicle sits three centimeters lower than the standard model.
Driving Dynamics and Comfort
Despite its lowered stance and “Dynamic” branding, the special-edition SUV retains its factory damping setup rather than receiving a performance-tuned suspension. According to road tests, this leaves the ride comfortable over cobblestones for families and long-distance travelers, though it causes the 4.52-meter vehicle to lean during fast directional changes.
The B10 Dynamic runs on a rear-wheel-drive electric motor generating 160 kW (218 PS) and 240 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 170 km/h. Drivers can adjust steering weight, energy recuperation across three levels, and acceleration intensity through the central interface.
Charging and Battery Performance
The compact SUV supports rapid DC charging capabilities. During testing at a 150-kW Aral charging station, the vehicle immediately drew 149 kW, adding 15.7 kWh of energy to the battery in ten minutes.
Leapmotor specifies a WLTP driving range of up to 434 kilometers on a full charge from its 67.1-kWh battery pack. Real-world testing recorded an average energy consumption of 18.1 kWh per 100 kilometers, closely aligning with the official WLTP rating of 17.3 kWh.
Interior Technology and Practicality
Inside the cabin, the B10 Dynamic utilizes a minimalist layout centered around a large touchscreen and dual joystick controls on the steering wheel. The infotainment system manages vehicle features, including a panoramic glass roof sunshade with percentage adjustments and a programmable electric tailgate opening angle ranging from 20 to 100 percent.
The voice assistant supports multiple languages—including German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese—and features distinct audio zones for the driver and front passenger. Cabin space accommodates passengers comfortably, offering generous legroom and headroom in the rear, alongside a luggage capacity ranging from 431 to 1,102 liters with the rear seats folded down.
Pricing and Specifications
The Leapmotor B10 Dynamic is priced at €39,000 in Germany. Buyers who forgo the Irmscher design package and lowered suspension can purchase the standard B10 trim with equivalent core features for €4,600 less.
