Jayson Reed Arrested After Allegedly Urinating on Family at Morgan Wallen Concert

Jayson Reed, a 33-year-old Morgan Wallen fan from North Carolina, faces multiple charges after allegedly urinating on concertgoers during a live performance at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, according to Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police. The July 18, 2024 incident sparked a physical altercation in the stands and led to an arrest nearly a month later.

Concert Altercation Draws Police Response

MDTA Police officers working detail at the stadium responded to reports of an active fight inside the venue during the country music concert. Stadium security intervened and identified the individuals involved before police separated the group. Authorities identified Reed as the primary suspect and escorted him from the premises, according to police reports cited by AOL.

Officers collected Reed’s identification information and issued a report number to the victims before uncovering the catalyst for the confrontation. According to victims who spoke with law enforcement and media outlets, the incident began shortly after Wallen took the stage.

Victims Detail the Incident

Troy Grevelding, who traveled with his family from Syracuse, New York, to attend the concert, told CBS News that he and his wife initially felt liquid dripping onto their legs. When Grevelding turned around, he discovered Reed standing behind them with his pants completely down.

“I just look, and at that point his pants are completely down. He’s urinating all over myself… all over my wife,” Grevelding told CBS News. The victims later confirmed that the suspect also urinated on two nieces, including an eight-year-old girl, prompting an immediate physical confrontation.

Arrest and Pending Extradition

Following the concert, MDTA Police detectives continued investigating the case and interviewed additional witnesses who missed the initial on-site questioning. Collaborating with the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, detectives secured an arrest warrant for the suspect.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina ultimately took Reed into custody. He remains held in North Carolina pending extradition back to Maryland to face four counts of second-degree assault, public urination, and related offenses.
