Crews Attack Flames From Above Amid Heavy Smoke
Station Commander Steve McGhie, who attended the scene, stated that crews had to attack the fire from above due to the heavy volume of smoke affecting the surrounding neighborhood, as reported by The Sun. The fire brigade advised local residents to keep their windows and doors tightly closed while emergency teams worked to contain the outbreak.
Roof Collapses and Gas Cylinder Removed
Photographs released by the London Fire Brigade show a gaping hole torn through the roof of the property, alongside charred solar panels and exposed insulation hanging over the front facade. A carport in the front garden and a vehicle parked underneath it were completely destroyed in the incident. During the operation, firefighters safely removed a gas cylinder from the premises, cooling it down to an ambient temperature as a precaution against potential explosions caused by extreme heat, according to My London.

Zero Injuries Reported as Investigation Begins
Officials confirmed that no injuries were reported during the late-night incident. An investigation into the cause of the fire remains underway.
