AYANA Bali is expanding its meetings and events infrastructure with the scheduled September 1, 2026 launch of a new Grand Ballroom on its clifftop estate in Jimbaran, according to reports from BW Hotelier and Bali Group Organizer. The expansion adds an 1,850-square-meter pillarless venue to the integrated resort destination, bolstering the island’s capacity for international conventions, corporate summits, and large-scale celebrations.
Design and Scale of the New Grand Ballroom
Designed by global architecture and design firm Gensler and inspired by the Sanga Mandala philosophy, the new pillarless Grand Ballroom spans 1,850 square meters with soaring nine-meter ceilings, according to coverage by Paul Lo Travel. The venue accommodates up to 2,300 seated guests, making it one of the largest event spaces on the island. The absence of interior columns provides clear sightlines across the space for international conventions, product launches, gala dinners, and destination weddings, as reported by Bali Group Organizer.
To support modern event production, the ballroom features integrated audiovisual infrastructure, including three large-scale LED screens positioned across two sides of the room. According to Bali Group Organizer, this built-in technology reduces setup requirements for event teams. The wider expansion also incorporates 20 breakout rooms and an ocean-view Veranda, according to Paul Lo Travel, allowing organizers to run simultaneous sessions while maintaining guest flow between indoor spaces and oceanfront outdoor venues.
Integration Within the Jimbaran Resort Estate
The new facilities anchor AYANA Bali’s broader resort ecosystem, which encompasses 993 rooms across four hotels, 31 dining venues, 14 pools, and a resort-wide tram system, as detailed by Paul Lo Travel. This integrated model allows delegates to transition directly from seminars to evening receptions within a single gated estate, reducing the logistical complexity of multi-day corporate gatherings. The property operates under an ESG-focused event model and holds EarthCheck Gold certification, aligning with rising corporate sustainability expectations in the MICE sector, according to Paul Lo Travel.

Impact on Bali’s MICE and Incentive Travel Market
The addition of high-capacity venue infrastructure arrives as Bali’s business and incentive travel sector experiences sustained demand for multifunctional destinations, according to Bali Group Organizer. Event planners increasingly favor properties that combine accommodation, dining, wellness experiences, and large conference facilities in one location, avoiding the need for multiple offsite venues. According to Paul Lo Travel, this expansion has already helped drive early bookings for incentive groups and conferences stretching through 2027.
