Plaud has introduced the Plaud One Explorer Edition, a set of 249,90-euro wireless AI-powered earbuds equipped with an integrated 4G eSIM that transcribes, summarizes, and executes workplace tasks independently of a smartphone. The device features a charging case with standalone microphones capable of recording meetings and phone calls from anywhere.
Hardware and Independent 4G Connectivity
Unlike standard Bluetooth earbuds that require a paired smartphone to process calls or media, the Plaud One Explorer Edition features a built-in eSIM with 4G LTE connectivity. This allows the hardware to upload conversations directly to the cloud for transcription without needing a phone nearby. The device provides up to six hours of continuous recording for physical meetings or three hours of call time on a single charge, while the charging case extends total recording autonomy to 25 hours.
The charging case functions as a standalone recorder. The box-shaped case incorporates its own microphone system designed to sit in the center of a table and capture multi-person conversations within a five-meter range. Users receive 300 minutes of free monthly transcription, with additional plans available above that threshold.
Plaud Agent and Productivity Integrations
At the center of the software experience is Plaud Agent, an artificial intelligence engine designed to process audio context. The system connects natively with workplace applications including Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Slack. Nathan Xu, CEO and co-founder of Plaud, stated that AI agents become truly useful when they accumulate and understand conversational context over time.

The software organizes workflows through a modular library called “Skills” and role-specific packages termed “Add-ons.” These features enable the system to convert meeting summaries into follow-up emails, draft documents, or scheduled calendar entries without requiring users to open a laptop or mobile phone. The AI can also interface with third-party assistants like Claude and ChatGPT.
Pricing, Pre-orders, and Software Rollout
The Plaud One Explorer Edition is priced at 249,90 euros and is available for pre-order in selected markets. Buyers who pre-order the device receive 175 euros in Plaud credits, which subsidize the AI functions and features of Plaud Intelligence that otherwise operate on a subscription model.

In addition to the new hardware, Plaud plans to release version 4.0 of its application in the fourth quarter of the year. This software update will bring a redesigned interface and Plaud Intelligence features to existing company hardware, including the Plaud Note card-sized recorder and the 17,4-gram NotePin S wearable.
