Mexican actress Eiza González and Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov have established a high-profile relationship, progressing from courtside appearances in early 2025 to a red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival and public displays of support.

According to Town & Country, the relationship first drew public attention in April 2025 when González attended the Madrid Open. A fan video shared to X captured the actress leaning over to congratulate Dimitrov after his victory against Chile’s Nicolas Jarry on Saturday, April 26, where she was reportedly heard saying, “Amazing, baby, amazing.” Following Dimitrov’s elimination from the tournament on April 30 after a loss to Canada’s Gabriel Diallo, the pair were photographed by paparazzi on a date.
The couple made their official red carpet debut weeks later during the Cannes Film Festival. On Thursday, May 15, González and Dimitrov attended the Red Sea Film Foundation’s “Women In Cinema” gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France.

Following Dimitrov’s birthday, González shared an image of the couple on Instagram, referring to the tennis player as “the man of my dreams” and writing that he had “restored so much in me I didn’t think was possible,” according to Town & Country. Tennis player Serena Williams commented on the post, writing, “Aiiiiiiiiiiiii love this.”
González’s support continued at major tennis tournaments. She was spotted cheering for Dimitrov from the stands during his practice sessions ahead of the French Open at Roland Garros, where he practiced with Jannik Sinner. Later in the summer, when Dimitrov was forced to retire from his fourth-round match at Wimbledon on July 7 against Sinner due to a sudden injury, González shared a message of support on her Instagram Stories. “Love of my life. I couldn’t be more proud of you,” she wrote, as reported by Town & Country. “This is just a moment that will pass and will make you even stronger.”
