Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended their 13-year-old daughter North West’s concert in Chicago on Saturday, September 5, according to reports from Just Jared and NBC Chicago. The former couple sat on opposite sides of The Vic Theatre during the headlining show, as documented in venue footage shared on Instagram.

North West Headlines Chicago Concert at The Vic Theatre

North West performed her first headlining show at The Vic Theatre, located at 3145 N. Sheffield Ave. in the Lakeview neighborhood, according to NBC Chicago. The concert follows the release of her EP, “N0rth4evr,” in May and her solo music festival debut on June 2 at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, as reported by NBC Chicago. The performance also follows the cancellation of her planned August co-headlining tour with Molly Santana. In a statement addressing the cancellation posted to social media and cited by Just Jared, North told fans she had something special planned instead. Describing her approach to music in an interview with Dazed and highlighted by Just Jared, North stated that performing is fun, relieving, and exciting.

Kim Kardashian and Ye Make Separate Appearances in Chicago

While supporting their daughter in Chicago, Kim Kardashian and Ye made separate public appearances across the city over the weekend. According to NBC Chicago, Kardashian visited her Skims store in the Gold Coast neighborhood at 1000 N. Rush St., wearing an all-black, skin-tight outfit and sharing photos on her Instagram story captioned “SKIMS STORE CHICAGO.” Meanwhile, Ye performed a two-night concert run at Soldier Field, as reported by Just Jared and NBC Chicago. NBC Chicago noted that Ye’s performances at Soldier Field drew local attention regarding antisemitism concerns in the city.
