This constrained volume mirrors the staggered release strategy deployed for the 2017 iPhone X, which was announced in September but did not reach consumers until November.
Financial Times reports note that the device carries an anticipated price point around $2,000, serving as a significant hardware test for John Ternus as Apple introduces its highest-tier foldable category.
