The Bend-based production house 500 Motors is set to release its debut feature-length snowboard film, KEVORKIAN, with a world premiere scheduled for October 1, 2026, at the Trailhead Lodge in Bend, Oregon, according to local reports from KTVZ. The project captures high-level action alongside the unscripted realities of life on the road for a roster of prominent regional and professional riders.

World Premiere and Screening Tour Details

Following the October 1 debut in Bend, KEVORKIAN will embark on a multi-city screening tour across the United States and Europe. According to 500 Motors, scheduled stops include Salt Lake City, Innsbruck, Seattle, Denver, and Portland. Fans who miss the theatrical screenings will have access to a digital release published on the official 500 Motors YouTube channel on January 1, 2027, as reported by KTVZ.

Cast and Analog Production Approach

Directed and edited by filmmaker Jake Price, the film was shot entirely on 16mm and 35mm film stock to document riders across remote backcountry terrain and global resorts. Principal cinematography for the project is credited to Jonah Elston, Jake Price, and Joni Vicorino. The featured roster showcases an all-star lineup of professional snowboarders, including Jared Elston, Parker Szumowski, Curtis Ciszek, Austin Smith, Ian Boll, Charles White, Dustin Craven, Ben Ferguson, and Gabe Ferguson, per KTVZ.

Community Roots and Industry Backing

Beyond technical tricks and backcountry lines, the production highlights the personal camaraderie, crashes, and lifestyle of the Central Oregon snowboarding community. The project receives primary support from Mt. Bachelor alongside a wide group of industry sponsors, including Smith, Arc’teryx, Arbor, K2, Columbia, 10 Barrel Brewing, Bataleon, and DC, according to KTVZ. Additionally, a companion film titled QUARTET features local riders Elijah Pyle, Griffin Biancucci, Kai Huggin, and Haden Mcalister.
