The development of the Les Genêts housing estate in Minihy-Tréguier, Côtes-d’Armor, entered a new operational phase following the launch of earthmoving operations on July 6, according to local municipal authorities. Mayor Christian Le Roi confirmed that infrastructure timelines are moving forward for the 2.1-hectare eco-neighborhood located at the entrance of the bourg.
Municipal officials announced that informational signs for the public are being installed across two main municipal axes—specifically near Kerguyomard and the Salle de l’Eventail—as well as directly on the construction site. The project, initially conceived in 2021, aims to introduce 26 serviced and builder-independent lots to the local housing market.
Infrastructure Timeline and Parcel Specifications
According to the town hall’s schedule, the formal demarcation of individual lots is set to begin on September 24. Subsequent construction phases include definitive stonework and a dual-layer surface coating scheduled for completion in November.
The 26 available parcels range in size from 411 square meters up to 642 square meters for the largest plot. Each parcel will feature an integrated rainwater absorption well. In line with environmental standards tested successfully in Traou Miquel, the housing development will use solar-powered street lighting.
Commercialization and Municipal Housing Grants
Commercial operations for the housing plots are managed through the Société publique locale d’aménagement (Spla) de LTC. Current figures show six lots in advanced negotiation stages and another six parcels under preliminary option, leaving 14 lots available for purchase.
To assist first-time homebuyers, the municipality is offering a financial subsidy of €15 per square meter for buyers who have never previously owned property. This municipal incentive reduces the net land cost to €58 per square meter, down from the standard base price of €73.
