Intri Ensemble will host a healing concert titled “Music Travel” on September 19, 2026, at the Pyeongtaek Bukbu Culture and Arts Center Grand Performance Hall, according to an announcement by the Pyeongtaek City Citizens’ Newspaper. The program is designed to take listeners across multiple musical genres, blending classical pieces, film scores, animation themes from Studio Ghibli and Disney, jazz standards, and popular music into a single cohesive journey.
A Multi-Genre Musical Journey
According to the concert organizers, the performance structure mirrors a travel itinerary designed to give audiences a break from daily routines. Each musical segment evokes a distinct landscape, ranging from forest scents and ocean waves to evening sunsets and the atmosphere of a neighborhood jazz club. The program moves fluidly from the formal elegance of classical compositions to familiar cinematic melodies, childhood animation tracks, and the improvisational rhythms of jazz.
Diverse Instrumental Arrangement
The concert features a unique configuration of instruments on stage, combining the clear, resonant tones of the vibraphone, the warm wooden resonance of the marimba, alongside violins, cellos, piano, and standard percussion. Organizers noted that the pairing of metal and wooden mallets with traditional string and keyboard instruments creates a rich sonic texture that differs from standard chamber music performances. The event is open to children aged three and older, and admission is free of charge, according to the Pyeongtaek City Citizens’ Newspaper report.
