Salesforce Unveils AIforce to Bring CRM Data and Agents to Any Interface

Salesforce introduced AIforce on September 15, 2026, at the Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, providing enterprise customers with an interface layer designed to integrate company business knowledge into agent-based productivity tools. According to Salesforce, the new architecture bridges data, workflows, and governance into external applications where users and AI agents operate, bypassing the need to open core Salesforce interfaces.

The system is built on existing Salesforce infrastructure, utilizing established permission models, security controls, and business logic without requiring migrations or new setups. According to Salesforce Chief Executive Officer Marc Benioff, the platform combines artificial intelligence models with operational customer context to create a modular system supported by zero data retention.

Claudeforce Integration with Anthropic Claude

The initial implementation of AIforce includes Claudeforce, which integrates Salesforce capabilities directly into Anthropic’s Claude. According to Salesforce, the setup utilizes a pre-configured Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects data and functions without requiring custom authentication or integration work by customers.

Claudeforce launches with 37 pre-built skills aimed at sales functions like account acquisition and pipeline management. Additional features targeting analytics through Tableau, along with skills spanning service, marketing, and commerce sectors, are scheduled to follow. Following a pilot phase with companies including Deloitte, GitLab, and Legora, the open beta is now available on the AppExchange, according to Salesforce.

Slackforce and Slack CRM Capabilities

Slackforce brings Salesforce contexts and features into Slack environments, enabling collaborative workflows. According to Salesforce, Slackforce Surfaces allow companies to merge live data from Salesforce, Slack, and other platforms into shared interactive spaces.

The updated Slackbot operates across both Salesforce and Slack data scopes. The tool can identify accounts experiencing drops in activity, analyze the underlying causes using support tickets and message histories, generate task assignments, and draft re-engagement emails. Additionally, Slack CRM enables users to create customer records, log meeting notes, and update data directly within Slack.

Agentforce Coworker Deployment

Agentforce Coworker operates as an internal AI assistant within the Salesforce Lightning interface. According to Salesforce, the tool functions under current user permissions and connects directly to existing Agentforce digital agents. The coworker module is available immediately for Salesforce customers to activate.

AIforce Architecture Overview

AIforce builds on the agentic enterprise framework established by Salesforce, which consists of three distinct functional layers:

  • Data 360: Provides unified and secure enterprise context.
  • Customer 360: Delivers application and semantic intelligence.
  • Agentforce: Manages a digital workforce of pre-built and custom AI agents.

By routing these layers through external interfaces, AIforce allows users and agents to execute data queries, update records, and trigger workflows using natural language descriptions rather than navigating fixed interface layouts.
