Children’s YouTuber Ms Rachel has pledged to match rapper Macklemore’s $1 million donation to pro-Palestinian charities, following his removal from Ed Sheeran’s North and South American tour over his public statements regarding the conflict in Gaza.

Accurso, 43, told her 5.8 million Instagram followers that she serves as an ambassador for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and will direct her funds to the organization.
“I will match Macklemore’s donation and I invite every wealthy white celebrity to match it and speak out against the genocide in Gaza,” Accurso wrote in her Instagram post, as cited by RTÉ. “Over 20,000 precious Palestinian children have been killed and children continue to be killed every day. We have a moral obligation to use our privilege and platforms to protect children and human rights.”
Macklemore, whose legal name is Benjamin Haggerty, responded in the comments section by writing, “Wowwww…. Love you so much,” according to RTÉ. The rapper also shared Accurso’s announcement on his Instagram story.
The Fallout From Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour
The donations follow Macklemore’s departure from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour.
On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Macklemore announced on Instagram that he would donate his entire net earnings from the tour—estimated at $1 million (€872,000)—to six organizations supporting Palestinians: the PCRF, HEAL Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, UNRWA USA, and American Near East Refugee Aid.
Macklemore stated that the decision to remove him from the lineup came after Robert Kraft—whose Kraft Group owns Gillette Stadium where a show was scheduled—contacted Sheeran to state the venue would not host the concert if the rapper performed, according to RTÉ and Yahoo. Kraft released a statement on Wednesday evening confirming that Sheeran had later called him to ask for a $2 million match to aid the region, and noted that he has a decades-long history of supporting economic opportunities for Palestinians and Israelis.
In response to Macklemore’s exit, all remaining supporting acts on Sheeran’s Loop Tour—including Grammy-winning artist Finneas, Irish singer Aaron Rowe, Danish singer Lukas Graham, and backing band Beoga—withdrew from the tour in protest, according to RTÉ. Additionally, an Irish radio station dropped Ed Sheeran from its playlists, according to Yahoo.
Ed Sheeran stated on social media that Macklemore’s departure was decided by the tour promoter rather than himself, adding that he is not complicit and has personal views on the conflict, according to RTÉ.
