Television Aichi, World Cosplay Summit operating body WCS, and Aichi-based cosplay event organizer Bibicos jointly organized the 2026 event. Participants gathered at Wakamiya Square for photography and social interaction before conducting a group gathering (gathering) on the stairs of Osu Kannon and participating in a cosplay parade through the Osu shopping district. Organizers designated multiple local businesses as costume-friendly, allowing participants in costume to enter stores directly.
Unique Venues: Ice Skating Rink and TV Studio
The event utilized unconventional local facilities, including the Osu Skating Rink, officially known as the Nagoya Sports Center, which serves as a setting in the anime series Medalist. Organizers reserved the rink exclusively for a block of time, letting participants ice skate and take photographs in costume. Additionally, Television Aichi opened its television studios to give participants access to professional production equipment for photography.
Concurrent Festivals and Stage Performances
Television Aichi also hosted the concurrent “10-Chan Atarama Enjitsu IN Osu” festival throughout the district. A special outdoor stage featured the “SakuCos x CosSumi Selection,” bringing together Nagoya cosplay performance stages for collaborative acts alongside the main event.
