No Such Place, a top-down extraction shooter developed by ChillyRoom’s Critical Hit Team, is scheduled for a Steam Early Access release on October 14, 2026. Players step into the boots of field agents working for the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.), a supernatural anomaly investigation organization dispatched to dimensional fragments across multiple spacetime coordinates.
Entering Anomalous Dimensions and Gathering Supplies
Agents travel across historical fragments and alternate dimensions frozen just moments before their collapse. According to game details released by the developers, these zones are filled with unnatural and incomprehensible deadly dangers that conceal precious treasures capable of guiding human civilization forward. The Early Access build launches with three distinct areas and several spacetime nodes, offering nearly ten dimensional zones for players to explore.
Environments span a variety of hazardous locations, including abandoned military outposts, mist-shrouded research facilities, eternally burning flame forests, and lifeless highland snow mountains. During reconnaissance runs, investigators must scavenge for weapons, medicine, equipment, and general supplies. Players also need to keep watch for scattered antiquities, unknown biological samples, and deliberately hidden classified documents before locating an extraction point within the time limit.
The Eerie Routine of 88 Whitegate Avenue
A newly revealed trailer highlights a distinct dimensional zone known as “The Edifice,” located at 88 Whitegate Avenue. Triggered by a strange recruitment email, the U.R.C. investigates an uncanny corporate office that continues to operate as if nothing is wrong, despite its workers having mutated into bizarre forms.
Every employee inside the skyscraper has undergone severe physiological mutation driven by their past personality, job position, and obsessions. Despite these grotesque transformations, they continue to stick to their daily routines and guard their posts. According to developer briefings, these mutated workers view anyone incapable of generating corporate value as a threat that must be eliminated. Players must search these sealed offices to retrieve high-value artifacts for organizational analysis.
Logistics and Four-Player Cooperative Play
Survival inside these hostile dimensions relies heavily on safehouse management. Developers emphasize that upgrading the player’s base into an impenetrable fortress is critical for preparing for subsequent deep-dimension runs.

To tackle high-difficulty zones, players can form exploration squads with up to three other U.R.C. investigators. Dividing labor across a four-player team allows squads to cover more map area and share the burden of scavenging before extraction, directly increasing survival rates and profit yields.
