Shakira and Amazon Music Announce Global Livestream of Madrid Concert

Shakira and Amazon Music announced the live broadcast of the final stop of her "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour" from Madrid on October 3, 2026, marking the first time Amazon Music will air a complete concert by the Colombian pop star without requiring a subscription. The global broadcast originates from her European residency, "ES Latina," at the Recinto Iberdrola Music and will reach audiences across multiple platforms including Prime Video, Twitch, and Fire TV, according to statements released by Amazon Music and reported by EFE.

Shakira’s Final Tour Stop to Air Free on Amazon Music

The live stream begins at 8:45 PM CEST, corresponding to 2:45 PM ET, 12:45 PM in Mexico City, 3:45 PM in Brazil, and 11:45 AM PT. According to Rocío Guerrero, head of Music for Latin-Iberia at Amazon Music, the broadcast represents a milestone for the service. Guerrero noted in interviews with EFE that while the platform previously streamed major events like Bad Bunny’s 2025 performances, the objective is not to compete with past figures but to continually expand the reach of Latin artists.

The concert caps a tour rooted in personal resilience and reinvention. "The tour has become so much more than I ever could have imagined, and I’m so proud of it," Shakira stated in the official announcement. "I’m thrilled to take it even further by sharing this special night with fans all over the world, alongside Amazon Music."

Live Stream Schedule and Regional Time Zones

The event’s timing caters to global audiences, with specific local conversions listed for key markets. Amazon Music emphasized the free access model as a departure from its usual subscription-based approach, signaling a strategic shift to broaden appeal. The broadcast will be available on Prime Video, Twitch, and Fire TV, expanding its reach beyond traditional music streaming channels.

Tech Education Program Targets Gender Gap in Latin America

Beyond the concert stage, the partnership integrates social impact programs focused on technology education and female entrepreneurship. Through an alliance involving Amazon Web Services (AWS), the nonprofit organization Laboratoria, and Shakira’s Fundación Pies Descalzos, the initiative launches "AWS Entrena Latinas."

The program aims to provide free training in cloud computing and artificial intelligence, entirely in Spanish, to one million women by 2028. Starting in Colombia, the curriculum targets students and mothers connected to Fundación Pies Descalzos, aiming to close a gender gap in the technology sector where women currently hold only 26 percent of tech roles.

In parallel, Amazon Music launched a global digital storefront titled "Las Mujeres Facturan con Amazon Music," inspired by a lyric from the tour. The store highlights products, music, and books from female-led businesses, placing a special emphasis on Latina entrepreneurs.

New Music Releases and Madrid Immersive Experience

The collaboration also introduces new musical releases and physical products for fans. Amazon Music released a new Spanish remix of "Dai Dai," produced by RVSSIAN, alongside an orange and yellow marble vinyl edition of Laundry Service to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 2001 album that established Shakira’s international crossover. Fans can also access curated playlists such as "El Mixtape," "[Re]Discover Shakira," and "On Tour."

In Madrid, the on-site "ES Latina" residency features interactive installations, including an Amazon Music Shakira Museum guided by Alexa+, showcasing her milestones across music, fashion, and social impact. The festival stage features an all-female lineup performing her catalog alongside dedicated spaces for the "Las Mujeres Facturan" marketplace and the "AWS Entrena Latinas" program.
