Xiaomi is reportedly developing a base model for its upcoming smartphone lineup that packs a massive 7,200 mAh battery and a 200-megapixel camera system. The unreleased device surfaced through leaks from technology tipster Bald Panda, emerging shortly after the company debuted its higher-tier Pro models in China.
Battery Capacity and Charging Specs
The standard model outpaces its sibling in power storage. While the Xiaomi 18 Pro carries a 7,000 mAh battery, the base variant reportedly features a larger 7,200 mAh power cell. Power delivery details indicate support for 100W wired fast charging alongside wireless charging capabilities. Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, positioning the device among the early adopters of the next-generation flagship processor.
Advanced Camera Configuration
Optics form a central part of the upcoming hardware package. Leaks point to a triple-lens rear camera array anchored by a 200-megapixel primary sensor built on a 1/1.28-inch optical format. This main shooter joins a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a secondary 200-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom.
