Winamax Overdrive: New Poker Loyalty Program Explained

Online poker operator Winamax is overhauling its loyalty program with the rollout of Overdrive, a new rewards structure launching at 00:01 on Thursday. The platform is replacing its legacy system to introduce unlimited cash bonuses, faster reward accumulation, and an app interface that eliminates older web pages used for tracking player progress.

Overdrive Loyalty Program Structure and Unlimited Cash Bonuses

Under the previous loyalty setup, player rewards slowed down significantly once users secured their second VIP bonus of the month. Overdrive removes that ceiling entirely. As soon as a player unlocks one cash bonus, the next one starts immediately, with no cap on the total number of bonuses a user can earn. Alongside the unlimited structure, Winamax built a new Boost mechanism. Unlocking a bonus triggers a 24-hour Boost period that accelerates the progression of the subsequent bonus by 25%. Securing another bonus during an active Boost bumps the rate to 50%, then 75%, and finally 100%. The cumulative duration of a boosted period caps at 48 hours, but players who maintain the pace can stay at the maximum 100% Boost continuously within that 48-hour window.

Miles Reduction and VIP Status Integration

To fund the frequent cash payouts, Miles accumulation is being cut in half across most formats, though cash-game players face a gentler reduction of 1.5. Winamax adjusted its status tiers to offset the slower Miles generation, ensuring that the change does not impact a player’s VIP status progression. Users also gain 90 days to clear their bonuses, a significant jump from the previous 30-day window. Monthly VIP freeroll tournaments are canceled entirely under the new framework, as data showed they held little interest for players focused primarily on Expresso or cash games. The VIP space is now fully integrated into the desktop and mobile app lobbies, removing the older web pages and letting players track their progress directly at the table.

Automatic Chrome Status and Downtime Schedule

All active and newly registered players without an existing tier will automatically start at the Chrome status level upon launch, allowing them to begin unlocking bonuses immediately in cash games, Expresso, or tournaments. For users who take a break, Winamax instituted a regression limit ensuring accounts drop by no more than one status tier per month. To implement the transition, cash-game tables will pause temporarily at 23:30 on Wednesday night and resume around 00:15 on Thursday. The new loyalty interface goes live on the app around 00:30, requiring users to update their mobile or desktop applications. The VIP boutique will remain offline for maintenance until noon on Thursday, when Miles balances and bonus histories will return online progressively.
