A320 Software Problem at Swiss: No Flight Delays Reported

All A320s need software updates

All A320s need software updates. The reason is a problem with the aircraft’s flight control system. The update shoudl fix this problem.

# Swiss International Air Lines Addresses Software Issue Affecting flight Planning

Swiss International Air Lines is proactively addressing a software issue impacting flight planning systems. The airline confirmed it is installing updated software on affected aircraft, following a directive from Airbus.

## Measures taken immediately

Other airlines also made the software adjustments from Friday evening. Lufthansa, for example, immediately began implementing the measures pre-emptively. Swiss announced that it was in the process of installing the software on the aircraft in question, but was not assuming that there would be major delays or even flight cancellations.
