Abde Ezzalzouli PSG Transfer Rumors Diminish
Abde Ezzalzouli’s potential transfer from Real Betis to Paris Saint-Germain is unlikely to happen anytime soon, according to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto speaking on DAZN. Paris Saint-Germain has been linked with the Moroccan winger as the French club searches for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament against Barcelona.
Moretto dismissed an imminent departure for Ezzalzouli. The journalist explained that while Ezzalzouli shares an agent with Achraf Hakimi and maintains a close friendship with him, that relationship does not mean a move to Paris is in the works.
Contract Status and Past Opportunities
Ezzalzouli had the chance to leave Real Betis last summer, according to Moretto. The player is tied to the Spanish club by a contract running until 2029 and feels very happy at the team. Sources informed Moretto that a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain has little chance of succeeding right now.
Paris Saint-Germain routinely scans the transfer market when technical and administrative staff decide the squad needs reinforcements in the attacking line. Ezzalzouli emerged as an option following Kvaratskhelia’s season-ending knee injury.
Statistical Progression in Spain
The Moroccan forward has posted strong numbers recently, establishing himself as a decisive attacker in Spanish football and raising his profile across Europe. Last season, Ezzalzouli scored 15 goals and provided 13 assists, highlighting a significant jump in his offensive production.
