SET LIFE is an intensive, in-person workshop for actors and emerging crew who want real on-set experience.
Over two weekends, participants work collaboratively to produce a short film tailored to the ensemble’s interests and skill levels. Actors perform on camera, crew rotate through key set roles, and everyone gains practical insight into how a professional set functions.
This pilot workshop blends theory, hands-on learning, and professional mentorship in an immersive, ensemble-based environment.

No prior film experience required — just commitment and collaboration.
Application, Selection & Fees
This workshop is selection-based to ensure a strong, balanced ensemble.
All participants (actors and crew) apply by registering with a $50 deposit and completing a short intake form.
- Actors: total workshop fee $600+hst
- Crew: total workshop fee $300+hst
Participants who are selected will be invited to complete payment within 72 hours of acceptance. Applicants who are not selected will have their deposit fully refunded.
