Actress Adopted from Seoul National University Meets on Birthday

Actress Ok Ja-yeon, who graduated from Seoul National University, revealed her fateful encounter with Bom, a visually impaired cat who became her new family member.

On MBC’s entertainment show ‘I Live Alone’, which aired on the 13th, the delicious daily life of Chef Si-Hyun Kim, the ‘Baby Beast’, as the third main character in the ‘Let the Rainbow Horse Run’ special, and Ok Ja-yeon, who welcomed her visually impaired cat ‘Bom’ as a new family member, were revealed. The audience rating was 5.7% in the metropolitan area, ranking first among Friday entertainment programs.

The main character of ‘The Best One Minute’ is a scene where ‘Baby Beast’ chef Kim Si-hyun prepares a housewarming meal. The dishes created with his own taste, including dried vegetable pot rice, perilla seed soft tofu stew, and various vegetable dishes, stimulated the taste buds of rainbow members. Chef Kim Si-hyun created a warm atmosphere by gifting lunch boxes for Rainbow members at the studio. As a result, the highest viewer rating soared to 7.6%.

Chef Kim Si-hyun’s morning routine, the ‘Baby Beast’ in ‘I Live Alone’, was revealed for the first time. His ‘Baby Beast House’, which is both a home and a studio, attracted attention with its large kitchen and ‘treasure warehouse’ filled with professional cooking utensils and dishes. Rainbow members were impressed by his history of working at Michelin restaurants. Chef Sihyun Kim, who graduated from Korea High School of Culinary Science and had no experience, said he sent a portfolio along with a letter, giving us an idea of his extraordinary passion and drive for cooking.

Chef Sihyun Kim’s refrigerator was also revealed. I was impressed by the various ripening ingredients that were carefully labeled and neatly organized. While everyone was curious about what kind of dishes he would cook at home, he attracted attention by showing that he likes ramen and eating ‘Shepherd’s purse soybean paste ramen’ made with shepherd’s purse in the morning.

Chef Kim Si-hyun then made ‘Dang Yujacheong’ and purchased a variety of vegetables from a vegetable shop in Gyeongdong Market, which is like a department store to him. In addition, he drew attention by making and serving ‘Duteop rice cake’ by hand, saying, “This is Dujjokkuji.” Chef Si-hyeon Kim shared his dreams and wishes, saying, “I want to become an all-rounder, like boiling cabbage in soup, making kimchi, making and eating vegetables, and frying and eating everything.”

Ok Ja-yeon introduced her second cat, Bom, who became her new family member, and told the story of their fateful meeting. Ok Ja-yeon, who rescued ‘Bom’ after finding him injured on the street in December last year, said she was told by a veterinarian, “‘Bom’ had no injuries to her eyes, but it would be difficult to adopt her because she has a visual impairment.” He decided to adopt her, saying, “I guess I should raise her,” but as fate would have it, he surprised everyone by saying that the day he met Bom was his birthday.

Ok Ja-yeon then added that when the vet said that Bom would not have survived the winter if she had not rescued her at the time, she named her Bom with the intention of saying, “May your life be filled with spring from now on.” Kian 84 was impressed by Ok Ja-yeon’s warm heart, saying, “I met a good owner.” Ok Ja-yeon expressed her affection for her eldest sister ‘Cha-cha’ and second-born sister ‘Bom’, saying, “Because my other senses have developed, there is no problem in my daily life.”

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Ok Ja-yeon took on the challenge of making her favorite Korean dessert, ‘Gaeseongjuak.’ Using cooking utensils borrowed from a neighbor, I calmly made ‘Gaeseongjuak’ according to the recipe, but I made a mistake by adding grain syrup rice taffy instead of grain syrup, so it ended up in the ‘Tanghulu’ style, which made me laugh. However, he completed the ‘Ok Ja-yeon-style Kaesong Juak’ by adding various toppings with sincerity.

Ok Ja-yeon also joined the ‘Table Tennis Club’ and revealed how she practices table tennis with her neighbors. As a new member in his first month, Jeon Hyun-moo, Ko Seong-hwan, and Code Kunst also showed off their ‘ping pong pride’ and made everyone laugh as he transformed into ‘ok table tennis’ and practiced alone. In the table tennis match that followed practice, he showed off his crazy eyes and showed tremendous concentration.
