“My son and his girlfriend decided at the last minute to go down to Puglia to welcome the new year,” lecciso stated. “Al Bano claims that Cellino san Marco saved them.” Despite her relief, Lecciso expressed deep sorrow for the families affected by the fire, stating, “I’m happy that it went like this, but my relief doesn’t ease the pain of the drama that the family is experiencing. I can’t imagine what those poor mothers and fathers feel. My heart goes out to them.”
