Following a sold-out tour in 2023/24, Irish comedian Al Porter is bringing his latest show, “AL PORTER ALGORITHM,” to the National Opera House in Wexford on March 27, 2026.

“AL PORTER ALGORITHM” blends Porter’s energetic comedy style with relatable stories. The show explores questions such as why Instagram suggests assessments, the challenges and rewards of house-sharing, and the dynamics of family relationships.

Porter’s previous show, “Now,” received critical acclaim, with reviewers praising his upbeat performance and storytelling ability. Chortle described it as “Gloriously upbeat! No self pity… Irrepressible stand up storytelling” and The Scotsman called it “Dazzling…Brilliant and very funny.”

Al Porter is an Irish comedian nominated for a Perrier Award, alongside Tommy Tiernan and Dylan Moran. He is currently writing and directing plays at the Olympia Theatre, in addition to touring.

Charity Performance

Prior to his National Opera House performance, Porter performed a charity gig in Wexford to support a local kids’ soccer team traveling to a competition in Blackpool.
