A Showcase for Young Agriculturalists

The Youth Fair & Livestock Show provides an opportunity for Alachua County 4-H and FFA youth, aged 8-18, to exhibit their projects, including both livestock and non-livestock entries [Alachua County Youth Fair & Livestock Show]. The event highlights the importance of agriculture and offers hands-on learning experiences for the next generation.

Benefits to the Community

According to UF/IFAS Extension Director Cindy Sanders, the fair “benefits agriculture and the local community by providing an educational opportunity for youth to learn about production agriculture.” [Alachua Chronicle].
