Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms Receives Northwind Update and Announces Upcoming DLC

Rome, March 10, 2026 – Independent developer Gamera Interactive has released the Northwind Update (Version 1.4) for the action RPG Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms, now available on PC via Steam and GOG. The free update introduces recent content, expands the game world, and completes the latest phase of the game’s combat system improvements.

Expanding the World of Plamen

The Northwind Update adds a new questline tied to the lore of Kariasha, expanding the narrative of the world of Plamen and introducing players to a story involving two legendary warriors connected to the necromancer. Alongside the new narrative content, the update brings a map expansion with a new Fortress Area (FA), Skarhjem, and a brand-new boss encounter.

Refined Combat and General Improvements

The development team has completed the final phase of the melee combat rework with the Northwind Update, further balancing weapon classes such as swords and warhammers based on extensive community feedback. The update also includes a wide range of general improvements, performance optimizations, bug fixes, and gameplay adjustments. Localization has also been updated across both official and community-supported languages.

DLC on the Horizon

Gamera Interactive has confirmed that the first downloadable content (DLC) for Alaloth: Champions of The Four Kingdoms will be unveiled in the coming weeks. The reveal was originally planned alongside the Northwind update but has been moved to an upcoming event where the studio plans to present full details.
