American Actress Visits Gaza, Checks on Injured

Hollywood actress and film producer Angelina Jolie visited the Rafah checkpoint in the Gaza Strip on the 2nd (local time).

According to AFP, Jolie visited the Egyptian side of the Rafah checkpoint on this day and spoke wiht Red Crescent officials and drivers transporting humanitarian aid materials.

Jolie visited this place on this day to check the condition of the injured Palestinians in the Gaza Strip who were transported to Egypt and to check the status of the delivery of aid supplies.

Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children’s fund (UNICEF) and a former special representative for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
