CS Dinamo Bucharest has secured the signing of Slovenian handball playmaker Andraž Makuc, bolstering their squad ahead of the expanded EHF Champions League season. The move marks Makuc’s first international club experience, as he transitions from RK Celje Pivovarna Laško.

Born on July 24, 2002, in Postojna, Slovenia, Andraž Makuc currently plays as a central player for RK Celje . He gained recognition during the EHF EURO 2026, where he stepped up due to injuries within the Slovenian team, showcasing his potential on the European stage. Makuc is likewise the younger brother of Domen Makuc, a centre back for Barcelona.
Dinamo Bucharest’s Ambitions
CS Dinamo Bucharest, a dominant force in Romanian handball with 21 top-flight titles, 9 Romanian Cups, 7 Romanian Supercups, and 1 EHF Champions League title , aims to become more competitive as the EHF Champions League expands to 24 teams.
