Parker & Sons Sponsors Tucson Roadrunners Community Member of the Game

The Tucson Roadrunners announced November 4 that one local resident will be honored at each designated home game with a ride on the Parker & Sons Zamboni, naming the Arizona home services company as presenting sponsor of the team’s Community Member of the Game program, the Tucson Roadrunners reported.

Parker & Sons, which provides HVAC, plumbing and electrical service across Arizona, will present the program recognizing teachers, coaches, first responders, healthcare workers, nonprofit volunteers, mentors, small business owners and neighbors who make a positive difference throughout the Tucson community. At designated Roadrunners home games throughout the season, one individual will be selected from eligible nominations, featured on the arena videoboard and given the Zamboni ride during the first intermission.

“We’re proud to partner with Parker & Sons on a program that recognizes the people who make Southern Arizona such a special place,” said Rob Mattina, President of the Tucson Roadrunners. “There are so many individuals in our community who make a difference every day without expecting recognition, and this gives us an opportunity to celebrate them and show our appreciation.”

“At Parker & Sons, we’re committed to delivering exceptional HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service while making a positive impact in the communities we serve,” said Steve Peitler, General Manager of Parker & Sons. “This partnership gives us the opportunity to support local families, connect with our community in new ways, and align with an organization that shares our values.”

Who Can Be Nominated for Arena Recognition

The nomination process is open to everyone, and submissions can come from anyone—family members, friends, coworkers, or the nominees themselves. To be eligible, nominees must be legal Arizona residents who are at least 18 years old when entered. Honorees must be present at the designated game to accept the recognition and the Zamboni ride.
