Andrea Crugnola Secures Seventh Season Victory at the 26th Rally del Garda

Andrea Crugnola won the 26th Rally del Garda on November 1, 2026, driving a Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale for team Fpf Sport alongside co-driver Andrea Sassi, prealpina.it reported. The event marked the return of the historic competition to the Brescia territory after an 18-year absence, utilizing traditional stages including San Michele, Vobarno, and Capovalle.

The 37-year-old driver from Calcinate del Pesce faced a strong challenge from local competitor Andrea Mabellini, who drove a Skoda Fabia RS for team Dream One Racing with co-driver Virginia Lenzi. While Mabellini claimed the opening Saturday evening show special stage by 0.7 seconds, Crugnola responded by winning every subsequent special stage. Crugnola finished the competition with a 17.1-second lead over Mabellini. Dall’Era-Beltrame placed third with a deficit of 1 minute and 40 seconds, followed by Bondioni-Grimaldi in fourth at 2 minutes and 15.8 seconds, and Niboli-Brunetti in fifth at 2 minutes and 42 seconds.

Challenging Stages Across Brescia Roads Test 173 Competing Crews

The 26th edition of the event, also known as the Memorial Renato Pasquali, drew 173 registered crews across modern rally, historic rally, and regularity categories, according to racingblog.it. Organized by Autoconsult and Northon Racing with start and finish in Toscolano Maderno, the route covered approximately 60 competitive kilometers divided into seven special stages across Salò, Gardone Riviera, Vobarno, Capovalle, Gargnano, and Treviso Bresciano.

The tarmac routes presented difficult conditions. Crugnola noted that he secured the victory on treacherous and slick asphalt surfaces. The competition featured repeat runs of stages including the 2.25-kilometer “Le Zette – Luigi Moncini” in Salò, the 11.81-kilometer “San Michele – Vittorio Palazzani” starting above the Vittoriale in Gardone Riviera, the 10.29-kilometer “Vobarno – Beppe Lancini”, and the 6.66-kilometer “Capovalle – Sandro Ghidini”.

Class Victories and Mechanical Misfortune Shape Mid-Field Standings

David Bizzozero and Denis Tosetto started the rally strongly, running in seventh to eighth place overall at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia RS fielded by team Munaretto. Their competitive run ended up disrupted by a late puncture that dropped them to 12th place overall and ninth in their category, finishing just behind Mannarino, Cianfanelli, and Di Pietro. In the RC4 class, Marco Rodili and navigator Luca Del Vitto secured victory and finished 40th overall out of 116 crews driving a Renault Clio Williams 2000. Within the historic rally division—won overall by Superti-Zambiasi in a Subaru Legacy—cuvegliesi competitors Mario Bolognesi and Alessandra Calori claimed the J2 Group A class victory and finished seventh overall in a Peugeot 205 Rallye 1300.
