Expanded Device Support

The Android Canary 2603 update is rolling out to the following Pixel devices: Pixel 10a, Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel 9a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel 8a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 6a, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet.

Restored Wi-Fi and Mobile Data Quick Settings Tiles

Google has reintroduced separate Quick Settings Tiles for Wi-Fi and Mobile data. Previously, these functions were combined into a single “Internet” tile. Users who have the Internet Tile enabled will find it automatically revert to Wi-Fi, with the option to manually add the Mobile data tile.

App Lock and Bubbles Now Available

Long-pressing on an app icon now reveals new options for “App lock” and “Bubbles.” The Bubbles feature was officially announced as part of Android 17 Beta 2 last month and is now fully functional with the Canary release. Google Pixel devices are at the forefront of this update.
