Anna Maria College Launches AI, Business Analytics, and Cybersecurity MBA Concentrations
Anna Maria College is expanding its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with three fresh concentrations: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Analytics, and Cybersecurity. These additions are designed to address the growing demand for professionals with both advanced business skills and technical expertise, with applications currently being accepted [1], [3].
Accelerated MBA Program Designed for Working Professionals
The new concentrations are integrated into Anna Maria College’s existing 12-course, 36-credit-hour MBA program. Students can complete the program in as little as one year, leveraging an accelerated 8-week course structure – approximately half the time of many traditional MBA programs [1], [3]. This flexible format allows students to attend classes in person at the Paxton campus, participate in a hybrid setting, or study fully online [3].
Accessibility and Curriculum
A business background is not required for admission to the Anna Maria MBA program. The curriculum is designed to provide foundational business knowledge alongside advanced learning in areas such as organizational behavior, accounting, leadership, business ethics, and strategic decision-making [3]. The new concentrations build upon this core coursework and were developed in collaboration with Rize Education to ensure relevance to current industry needs [3].
Meeting Industry Demand
Anna Maria College developed these new tracks in response to evolving employment needs. Companies are increasingly seeking professionals who combine a strong understanding of technology with leadership and business acumen [4]. Dr. Chioma Ugochukwu, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated that the introduction of these concentrations is an intentional response to the evolving needs of today’s workforce, equipping graduates with future-ready skills and ethical responsibility [3].
Additional Program Benefits
Anna Maria College’s MBA program offers features tailored for working professionals. The Mid-Career Track allows qualified professionals to waive up to two courses based on relevant perform experience, accelerating degree completion. Anna Maria College alumni receive a 20% tuition discount on MBA enrollment [3].
Further Education Opportunities at Anna Maria College
In addition to the new MBA concentrations, Anna Maria College offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cybersecurity, a four-year program preparing students for careers in the field [2].
