FORMER Manchester City star Kyle Walker is expecting his seventh child — one more than the number of goals he scored for the Premier League giants.
The England defender, 35, and wife Annie Kilner, 33, are expecting their fifth child together – and sources say they have “never been closer” after a period of marital turmoil.
The pair already have four boys — with Burnley star Kyle also fathering two children with Instagram influencer Lauryn Goodman.
Annie — who is in the early stages of her pregnancy — is now desperate for a baby girl to complete their family.
Last night sources said she is due to give birth in the summer.
Annie had filed for divorce after it was revealed Kyle had a son and daughter with Lauryn,
But they are said to have “fought tooth and nail” to patch up their marriage and have remained together despite overwhelming odds.
A source said: “Kyle and Annie are in such a good place and this baby has brought them even closer together. This baby is already bringing them so much joy, not only as a couple but as a family. Their boys are thrilled.
“Annie is a devoted mum and she is so excited to be bringing another child into the world.
“For her and Kyle this baby feels very much like it was meant to be.
“They’ve never been closer and they are so excited for their family to grow.”
The source said the couple — parents to Roman, 13, Riaan, ten, eight-year-old Reign and 18-month-old Rezon — shared their “joyous” news with loved ones after Christmas.
They were desperate to “quietly enjoy” the moment as a family before any announcement after all their recent struggles.
And it remained shrouded in secrecy until yesterday when news of it broke online, sparking a furious reaction from Annie.
She posted on Instagram: “As a woman it is my right to decide when, if and how I share something so personal.
“That decision should never be taken away.”
The impending arrival of their fifth child marks a remarkable turnaround for the couple who had been on the brink of divorce.
Kyle was kicked out of the family’s £3.5million home in Prestbury, Cheshire, in December 2024 after Lauryn revealed Kyle had fathered her second child, a girl called Kinara.
Kyle — who previously had a son, Kairo, with Lauryn — had been desperate to keep it a secret and even considered quitting Man City for Bayern Munich to avoid the looming scandal.
But on December 27, 2023, as he played for City in a 3-1 win against Everton at Goodison Park, Annie’s phone lit up.
A message read: “Hey it’s Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter.”
The bombshell news rocked Annie, who was heavily pregnant with their fourth child at the time.
She announced their shock split two weeks later, and Kyle moved into a rented mansion nearby.
In an exclusive interview later with The Sun, he spoke of his shame and regret.
He admitted: “I’ve caused a lot of pain to a lot of people.
“What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions. The only person to blame is me. I’m sorry because as a family this isn’t meant to happen.”
Despite the fallout, Annie gave birth to Rezon in April 2024, with Kyle at her bedside.
Several weeks later she was in the stands to support him as England reached the Euros finals in Germany, though it was clear there was still a huge gulf between them.
Kyle returned home after the 2-1 defeat to Spain for a two-day court hearing over money for his daughter with Lauryn.
A judge later concluded that Lauryn had used him as an “open-ended chequebook” and preyed upon his desire to keep the paternity of Kinara a secret.

Pals of Annie and Kyle said the legal battle had “galvanised” them.
In March last year, Annie used his surname for the very first time since they married as she launched a new jewellery line.
Her post featured a snap of her modelling a diamond bracelet — and read: “Demure. Founded by Annie Walker & Sophie Haynes.”
Sources said the move represented a significant thawing in relations between her and Kyle as they rebuilt their marriage.
One pal said at the time they were “in the best position” they have ever been.
Meanwhile, Celebs Go Dating star Lauryn is currently living in a £2.4million house in East Sussex — owned by Kyle — with Kairo, now four, and Kinara, one.

A 30-page court document as part of her child maintenance case laid bare her wild shopping sprees and outrageous financial demands.
They included £33,000 for air-conditioning at her seven-bedroom mansion, a £22,000 furnishing fund, £70,000 for a Mercedes GLE, to be replaced every three years, and a £30,000 car allowance for a nanny.
On top of that she wanted £14,750 a month in child maintenance, £3,900 a month in childcare costs, a bespoke wood and glass baby gate — plus an iron.
She also insisted on £31,200 for an astroturf football pitch — claiming in court Kinara had kicked a ball from a crawling position and showed talent as a potential Lioness of the future.
Kyle joined Man City in 2017 and went on to win 17 major trophies, scoring just six goals.
After a spell in Italy with AC Milan he joined Burnley in the hope that he could force his way back into the England team with regular football.
But the full-back, who has 96 caps, has not figured in Thomas Tuchel’s plans since he took up the job as head coach.
He now expects to be available for the birth instead.
While he and Annie are yet to decide on a name for the baby, it is likely to begin with “R” – just like the rest of their clan.
