Apple Unveils MacBook Neo and Updates Across its Product Line

Apple this week announced a series of updates to its product lineup, culminating in the introduction of the MacBook Neo, a new entry-level laptop priced at $599. MacBook Neo: Apple’s Most Affordable Laptop

The MacBook Neo marks Apple’s first new Mac laptop product line since 2015’s plain MacBook. Powered by the A18 Pro chip – the same chipset found in the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max – the MacBook Neo aims to provide a balance of performance and affordability. Apple announced updated Studio Display and Studio Display XDR models. The 5K Studio Display now includes two Thunderbolt 5 ports and Desk View functionality for the webcam. The Studio Display XDR features a high-contrast mini-LED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits peak HDR brightness, starting at $3,299.
