Albuquerque Public Schools Hosts Community Town Halls to Gather Public Input

The Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) Board of Education is committed to incorporating community values into its decision-making process. As part of this commitment, board members are hosting a series of town hall meetings across the district to directly engage with residents and gather feedback on key educational issues.

Recent and Upcoming Town Hall Meetings

APS Board members have been regularly holding listening sessions to solicit input from the community on a range of topics, including the district budget, school calendars, and the selection of the superintendent. Community input played a crucial role in establishing the student outcome goals set by the board.

Several town halls have already been held for Districts 6 and 7, as well as District 3. Upcoming town hall meetings include:

  • District 2: 5:30-7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, February 4 at Marie Hughes Elementary School, 5701 Mojave St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120
  • District 1: 10 a.m. To 12 p.m. On Saturday, February 22 at Harrison Middle School, 3912 Isleta Blvd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105
